deg99 symbol semantics
1 |~ 245C, i.e. 49C 5C
2 /| 5C
3 ~|) 49C
4 //| 25C, i.e. 5C + 5C
5 )/|\ 5:49M, i.e. 49C + 5C

Hmmm, this is disturbingly interesting.
Hell yeah, how could I miss that? The regular temperament I found a month or two ago was just based on this concept: 4802000/4782969 = (245/243)^2/(81/80). Now I see how to notate it!

Recently somebody from xenwiki came up with some 11-limit tonality theories based off of 159edo for its extreme accuracy in 2.3.11 subgroup.

I've always had Scala on my PC. I just didn't learn to use it and didn't even know it contained the info.

159edo notation extracted from Scala:
:|(: :~|(: :/|: :|): :(|(: :/ /|: :/|\: :(|):
Compare 152edo:
:)|(: :~|(: :/|: :|\: :(|(: :/ /|: :/|\: :(|):

Now 159 = 53*3, there's also 212 = 53*4 as I mentioned earlier. Here's it extracted from Scala:
:|(: :)|(: :~|(: :/|: :|): :(|: :(|(: :/ /|: :/|\: :(/|: :(|):
Compare 198edo:
:)|(: :|~: :~~|: :/|: :|\: :~|): :(|(: :/ /|: :/|\: :)/|\: :(|):

Curiously, they are so different.

I wish I could say any of these were among the ones which we discovered bugs as they exist in Scala currently, but no, we've made no fixes to 152, 159, 198, or 212.

The http://sagittal.org/sag_et.par file I linked earlier is up-to-date, but Dave and I haven't gotten around to submitting updates to Scala yet. If you are really curious what changed, you can look at the PRs:
https://github.com/Sagittal/sagittal-calculator/pull/1
https://github.com/Sagittal/sagittal-calculator/pull/2
Though I'd instead suggest you simply replace the .par files on your own computer locally with the ones from the Sagittal site. On my computer they are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Scala22\:

sag_12r.par
sag_desc.par
sag_et.par
sag_htt.par
sag_ji1.par
sag_ji2.par
sag_ji3.par
sag_ji4.par

and all of those files can be found at the root of sagittal.org.
