17 EDO?

So for 17 EDO you apparently use :b: :\!/: :h: :/|\: :#: right? As in :/|\: :\!/: is 1 degree alterations and :#: :b: are two degree alterations? Is this correct?

That is correct. And the same notation is used for 24, 31 and 38 edos, so of course you need to indicate on the score, which of them you intend.
