### Re: Notation for Fibonacci tuning (Wilson's horogram #22)?

I'm not assuming any mapping for now, just trying to find accidentals of approximately the right size. You could either use +10 generators or -11 generators for the 7th harmonic, for instance. And I think I got the 108c one wrong, it should be :/||): . Here's the list with a few more additions sorte...

### Notation for Fibonacci tuning (Wilson's horogram #22)?

http://www.elvenminstrel.com/music/tuning/horagrams/horagram01.htm I'm wondering about the best way to notate this tuning. It looks the Spartan level is sufficient for smaller subsets of the tuning, and Athenian should be good for almost anything. Promethean gets you an extra level, but many of the ...

### Re: 15&22 (Porcupine) notation

The same accidentals can be used for MOS nominals if you're using a notation based on porcupine[7]. I like to use :/|): 36/35 instead of :/|: but it's the same in 7-limit porcupine because the :|): 64/63 is tempered out. If you're using a porcupine[8] notation you might want an accidental for 21/20,...

### Re: Key Signature Approaches?

The one thing that might be confusing is that if you have D:\!::#: (or D:||\:) in the key signature but you occasionally might need a D:#:, it might be confusing that D:#: is only a comma sharper than the unmarked D. But the general idea of allowing any combination of accidentals in the key signatur...

### Re: Notating 37EDO

I've considered notating 37EDO as <37, 59, 86, 104], which gives you a number of options. For one step, it looks like the best option might be :~|): 49/48. The options for two steps are :/|: 81/80, :/|): 36/35, and :)||(: 25/24, but :/|: 81/80 is smaller than :~|): 49/48. Probably the best option is...
